Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Therapist to join our team at Talbert House. As a key member of our interdisciplinary treatment team, you will provide individual and group counseling services to clients, develop comprehensive diagnostic assessments, and participate in treatment planning. Responsibilities

  • Provide counseling, psychosocial intervention, and treatment services to clients under close supervision.
  • Maintain a caseload and ensure timely documentation of clinical activities.
  • Assess client progress and develop individualized service plans.
  • Provide family counseling and cognitive behavioral treatment as needed.
  • Participate in in-service training and provide clinical direction to other team members.
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of clinical activities in compliance with contract, regulatory, and agency requirements.
  • Adhere to professional standards and protocols.
  • Consult with team members and complete required training.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or higher and one of the following licenses: LSW, LPC, or MFT.
  • 2-5 years of clinical counseling experience preferred.
  • Possibility of remote work available.


Essential Functions/Physical Demands

  • Positional: Driving in accordance with job duties assigned. Infrequent standing and walking. Frequent to constant sitting.
  • Gross Mobility: Rare climbing, or crawling. Infrequent balancing, stooping, kneeling, or crouching. Frequent to constant reaching and handling.
  • Sensory: Rare tasting/smelling. Infrequent use of color vision. Occasional use of far visual acuity, depth perception, and field of vision. Frequent use of near and midrange visual acuity, and visual accommodation. Frequent to constant talking.
