About the Role:

You will collaborate with patients and families to develop an individualized treatment plan that addresses identified areas of concern. Your goal will be to assist patients and their families in understanding ways to effectively manage symptoms and behaviors attributed to the identified behavioral health diagnosis. You will also work with families to address complex personal and environmental difficulties that interfere with effective social functioning.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide diagnostic assessments, individual, group, and family-based psychotherapy, and crisis intervention as needed.
  • Collaborate with patients and families to develop an individualized treatment plan.
  • Assist patients and their families in understanding ways to effectively manage symptoms and behaviors attributed to the identified behavioral health diagnosis.
  • Work with families to address complex personal and environmental difficulties that interfere with effective social functioning.
  • Deliver clinical services to patients, their families, and other persons significant to the patient.
  • Work independently, be well-organized, and identify opportunities to work collaboratively with other units/departments within the hospital.
  • Participate as a professional member of the interdisciplinary team and community agencies.
  • Provide education/consultation to healthcare professionals and the community regarding the impact of psychosocial factors.

  • IMFT - Independent Marriage and Family Therapist - Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage & Family Therapist Board (Required)
  • LISW - Licensed Independent Social Worker - Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage & Family Therapist Board (Required)
  • LPCC - Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor - Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage & Family Therapist Board (Required)
