- Event Planning: Coordinate and execute campus events, fairs, summer camps, expos, tours, and workshops to promote the college and its programs.
- Departmental Management: Supervise and manage the Student Recruitment and Outreach team, including goal setting, staffing, training, budgetary oversight, and outcomes.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in education, student services, or a related field from an institutionally accredited college or university.
- Experience: Three years of experience working with secondary education, career exploration, community development, and/or at a college/university.
- Skills: Familiarity with the Washington K-12 school system, the Community College Mission, and with CBC programs, policies, and procedures.
- Master's Degree: Master's degree in education, student services, or a related field from an institutionally accredited college or university.
- Departmental Management: Ability to effectively and efficiently manage a department, including all related administrative and supervisory functions.
- Project Management: Manage projects by focusing attention on key priorities, evaluating approaches, and adjusting plans as needed.
- Quality Management: Set clear quality requirements, measure key outcomes, and improve processes, products, and services.
- Leadership: Lead through influence, take ownership and accountability for the area of responsibility, and demonstrate confidence within the area of expertise.
- Conceptual Thinking: Understand a situation or problem by identifying patterns or connections and addressing key underlying issues.
- Oral and Written Communication: Speak clearly and persuasively, listen and get clarification, and respond well to questions.
- Student-Centered: Create and support an environment that enables learners to achieve their personal, academic, and professional goals.
