Hansen Talent Group is seeking a skilled professional to fill the role of Workstation Support Analyst.

This individual will be responsible for representing workstation support on major projects, ensuring the smooth operation of desktop software and hardware. Key responsibilities include:

  • Desktop Configuration and Maintenance: Configuring, installing, and maintaining desktop software and hardware to ensure optimal performance.
  • Ticket Management: Monitoring and updating the dispatch system, and working on incoming tickets as assigned.
  • Technical Support and Guidance: Providing technical support and guidance to users, including troubleshooting and resolving issues.
  • Data Backup and Security: Ensuring proper backing up of data from user workstations and ensuring that tools and equipment are licensed and approved by IS purchasing.
  • Security Configuration: Ensuring proper configuration and adherence to security configurations and settings.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise: Able to provide consultation to IT users for all aspects of end-user computing and desktop-based LAN systems software.
  • Training and Development: Able to provide on-the-spot training to users.
  • Operating System Imaging: Understands operating systems imaging concepts.
  • Hardware and Software Selection: Able to make recommendations on selection of hardware and software products to address business requirements.
  • Customer Service: Customer service, communication, and organizational skills are essential, as this role involves direct work with project managers and clients.
