Position Overview
The Employee Relations Specialist collaborates closely with the Employee Relations Manager and plays a key role in supporting team member performance management through available processes and tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Administers daily Employee Relations activities, including reviewing and providing feedback on corrective actions, performance improvement plans, and individual development plans to ensure timely performance management.
- Assists with the Quarterly Talent Review process, focusing on succession planning and bench development.
- Manages the Predictive Index administration and utilizes it to aid leaders in development discussions.
- Identifies opportunities to simplify and streamline processes for continuous improvement, particularly within the HRIS System.
- Generates and submits reports related to Employee Relations and Performance Management activities.
- Creates training and educational materials for leaders as necessary.
- Facilitates timely responses to employee relations claims and supports investigations as required.
- Contributes to the Exit Interview and offboarding processes.
- Helps maintain policies within the company handbooks.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, excellent project management and prioritization abilities, and familiarity with Workday are essential.
Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in human resources, leadership, or a related field, along with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist or Employee Relations role. Experience in Learning and Development and leadership development is a plus.
Physical Requirements
Work is conducted in an office environment, necessitating the ability to operate standard office equipment and keyboards.
Responsibilities include standing and walking, communicating in person and by telephone, using hands to manipulate objects or controls, reaching with hands and arms, and differentiating colors.
Must be capable of lifting and carrying parcels, packages, and other items weighing up to 25lbs, and walking short distances.
Salary range: $55,000 - $70,000.00
