Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical supervision and guidance to pediatricians and pediatric nurse practitioners
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards
  • Collaborate with service unit leadership to develop and implement quality improvement initiatives
  • Ensure the completion of required training, orientation, peer review, and chart reviews for staff
  • Initiate personnel actions, including recruitment, selection, promotion, and termination of medical staff positions
Requirements
  • Board Certification in Pediatrics or a related specialty
  • 5 years of residency training in Pediatrics or a related specialty
  • Experience in a supervisory or leadership role in a healthcare setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
