About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) Specialist to join our team at Daily Services LLC. As an EHS Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring our company's compliance with all relevant EHS laws and regulations.

This position requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement EHS Policies: Develop, implement, and manage EHS strategies, policies, and programs to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Audit and Inspection Management: Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Reporting and Documentation: Prepare and submit reports to regulatory agencies as required.
  • Incident Response and Investigation: Respond to incidents, assist in investigations, and implement corrective actions.
  • Staying Up-to-Date with Regulatory Changes: Stay informed about regulatory changes and update company policies accordingly.
  • Providing EHS Support and Training: Provide EHS training and support to employees.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Assist in coordinating EH&S policies and procedures across departments.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
  • Experience: 1-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or similar industry.
  • Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with environmental, health, and safety management systems such as ISO 14001, ISO 45001 is an advantage.
  • Auditing and Training Experience: Experience in compliance auditing and training is a plus.
  • Ergonomics Knowledge: Knowledge of ergonomics is an advantage.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Strong understanding of regulations including EPA, OSHA, etc.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational skills, and attention to detail.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
  • OSHA Certification: OSHA 10 or 30 Certification is a plus.
Compensation:

$75,000 per year
