Membership Representative

At the New York Botanical Garden, we are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused Membership Representative to join our team. As a key member of our membership department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our members, responding to their inquiries, and ensuring a positive experience for all interactions.
Key Responsibilities:- Respond to member inquiries via phone and email, providing accurate and timely information about membership benefits, garden programs, and hours of operation.
- Update member biographical information in our databases, Raiser's Edge and Siriusware, as needed.
- Perform general administrative tasks and support onsite member programming, as assigned.
- Conduct all transactions in accordance with our policies and procedures.
- Prior office and customer service experience, with a college-level education preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Moderate knowledge of computers, typing, and/or data entry.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
This is a full-time position, with a two-week training and onboarding period, followed by a regular schedule of Wednesday and Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The pay rate is $19 per hour.
