- Safety and Compliance: Lead by example the Company's commitment to customer service and safety, administering the company safety program, and ensuring compliance with all company directives and initiatives.
- Customer Service: Lead by example the company's commitment to customer service, understanding the importance of following through on NPS scores and customer care.
- Financial Management: Ensure the branch's daily operations run efficiently and cost-effectively, meeting financial commitments, including target EBIT dollars and gross margin percent goals.
- Account Management: Work with sales managers to increase customer base or directly handle sales management responsibilities, including meeting with and making presentations to current and potential customers.
- Employee Performance: Oversee and ensure that the employee performance process for both union and non-union employees is performed timely and consistently.
- Market Knowledge: Maintain a strong working knowledge of the overall market area, including sales backlog, service and repair volume, market penetration, volume of outstanding bids, available new business, special projects, and staffing requirements and availability.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all federal, state, and local elevator industry code requirements and a good understanding of employment and labor laws.
- Product Knowledge: Maintain a strong familiarity of company products by attending company training classes and reviewing factory equipment updates and supplier goods.
- Contract Management: Maintain a strong working knowledge of the contract with the International Union of Elevator Constructors.
- Financial Administration: Review and approve invoices, accounts receivables, write-offs, and credits, including assisting in the collection of problem accounts.
- Interdepartmental Collaboration: Interface with corporate and US field departments, including the factory, elevate, coordination, leasing, legal, and labor relations.
- Industry Knowledge: Thorough knowledge of the elevator industry and general management methods within the elevator industry.
- Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree or two years' experience managing on a branch departmental level, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Leadership and Development: Proven success managing and developing talent within the workforce.
- Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- Technical Skills: Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
