Little Language Ambassadors is a premier Spanish immersion preschool dedicated to nurturing young minds and inspiring them to become global citizens. Our curriculum centers around engaging, purposeful activities that immerse children in the Spanish language and Latin culture, fostering their academic and developmental growth.

We are seeking a passionate and skilled teacher to join our team and contribute to building a strong foundation for our students' future success.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement an age-appropriate curriculum that aligns with academic and developmental milestones, while seamlessly integrating Spanish language and Latin cultural elements.
  • Create a safe and nurturing learning environment both indoors and outdoors, adhering to all school policies and California Child Care Center licensing requirements.
  • Manage classroom behavior effectively by establishing clear rules and limits, fostering a positive attitude, and maintaining a stress-free atmosphere for the children.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and welcoming classroom and facility.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with parents through open communication and collaboration, ensuring their active involvement in their child's educational journey.
  • Participate actively in staff meetings, training sessions, and school events to contribute to the overall success of the preschool.
  • Demonstrate a professional work ethic characterized by respect, punctuality, organization, and a willingness to take on new challenges.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum age of 18 years old.
  • Fluency in Spanish is essential.
  • Completion of at least 6 ECE credits; a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred.
  • Physical and mental capability to effectively manage a classroom of up to 12 children independently.
  • Ability to attend to children's needs, including assisting with meals, bathroom breaks, and diaper changing when necessary.
  • Physical strength and stamina to care for a child in case of injury or illness, which may involve lifting up to 35 lbs.
  • Creative, energetic, and enthusiastic personality with a passion for singing and dancing.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, demonstrating resourcefulness and adaptability.
  • Flexibility, willingness to take on diverse tasks, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
