Our district serves around 10,500 students, representing 50 different languages, across 22 exceptional schools. This includes three middle schools (Grades 6-8), fifteen elementary schools (TK/K-5), three K-8 schools, and one Early Education Center. Additionally, we have preschools located at six of our elementary sites, along with various theme-based schools such as Montessori, Immersion (Spanish and Mandarin), and STEM.

Job Summary

The San Mateo-Foster City School District is in search of dedicated teacher assistants for our Preschool program.

Positions available:
- 8 hours per day - Roving (8:30am-4:30pm)
- 8 hours per day - George Hall School (8:00am-4:00pm)

Role Overview:
Under general supervision, you will assist the teacher in planning, supervising, and developing curriculum, as well as organizing and maintaining the classroom environment. Your responsibilities will include providing instructional support and enriching learning experiences using developmentally appropriate practices and materials. You will also ensure child safety, perform housekeeping duties, and assist with the physical care and feeding of children.

Requirements / Qualifications

CPR and First Aid certification are required.

Applications must be submitted along with a copy of your High School Diploma. If you possess an AA degree or higher, please include that with your application (district testing may be waived).

**District reading, math & writing tests are required unless waived based on prior education and/or experience.**
