Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a literacy-based curriculum that is structured yet flexible, allowing for creativity and intentional instructional decisions.
- Coordinate classroom operations, including lesson planning, classroom management, and parent communication.
- Collaborate with fellow staff members, school administration, families, and the community to build relationships and ensure a cohesive educational experience.
- Provide a safe and inclusive learning environment that promotes social-emotional learning, creativity, and critical thinking.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in early childhood education, incorporating new ideas and strategies into your teaching practice.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Complies with all company and state-specific standards and maintains validation of required credentials for the position.
- Complies with all state-specific education requirements.
- Must have one of the following: 12 Units in Early Childhood Education, High School Diploma or GED, and some experience with children.
