Surgical Technologist

HexaQuEST Health, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Surgical Technologist to join our team in the Operating Room. As a Surgical Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and well-being of patients undergoing cardiovascular transplant surgery.
Responsibilities:- Prepare the Operating Room for surgery, ensuring all necessary equipment and supplies are available.
- Assist the surgeon during surgery, maintaining a safe and sterile environment.
- Care for patients during surgery, providing emotional support and ensuring their comfort.
- Care for instruments and supplies used in surgery, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Minimum two years of scrub experience or equivalent relevant experience required.
- Strong cardiovascular and transplant experience, including heart and lung transplant experience.
- Experience in an Academic Level 1 - Trauma center or similar size hospital.
- Prior traveler experience highly preferred.
- Successfully completed a surgical technologist program or two years experience in Surgical Technologist role may be considered in lieu of completion of program.
- BLS - must be certified through American Heart Association ONLY.
