Job Summary

NATIVE DIRECTIONS INC is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Residential Service Coordinator Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our residential treatment facility, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise clients in a residential treatment facility and assist in providing a safe and sanitary environment.
  • Perform safety drills and ensure all requirements for safety are followed.
  • Enforce organization policies and clients' rules and regulations.
  • Conduct nightly checks of the grounds and maintain a log of any unusual activity or items that require attention.
  • Submit maintenance and transportation forms on vehicles, grounds, and house to the Data Analyst.
  • Assist in assigning tasks on motivation days and conduct weekly checks of all emergency equipment and first aid kits.
  • Ensure clients adhere to schedules and maintain a clean and organized living environment.
Requirements
  • One (1) year of sobriety and willingness to submit to drug testing as a condition of employment.
  • Valid California driver's license, DMV printout, reliable transportation with adequate insurance.
  • Excellent listening and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write legibly.
  • Ability to work independently and as an effective team member.
  • Flexibility to participate in on-going training and cross-train when required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Minimum one year of experience in security or parole officer line of work.
  • Experience working in a behavior health setting.
  • Knowledge of Native American cultures and ability to work with those recovering from alcohol and/or drug addictions.
Knowledge and Abilities
  • Familiarity with Native American cultures and ability to work with diverse populations.
  • Understanding of client issues and ability to provide support and guidance.
  • Ability to give clear oral instructions, maintain composure under stress, and exercise tact when dealing with others.
