Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Biomedical Equipment Technician II to join our team at TriMedx. As a key member of our clinical engineering team, you will be responsible for installing, inspecting, troubleshooting, repairing, calibrating, and verifying the performance of complex biomedical equipment with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Install, inspect, and test biomedical equipment to ensure proper function and safety
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex biomedical equipment, including diagnostic and therapeutic devices
  • Calibrate and verify the performance of biomedical equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Collaborate with medical and clinical staff to provide technical advice and support on the safe operation and use of clinical equipment
  • Assist in developing specifications for the selection of new clinical equipment
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in a technical or electronics field, or equivalent military training
  • Technical certification (CBET) strongly preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with biomedical equipment in a clinical engineering environment
  • Valid driver's license required; variable travel requirements depending on primary site
  • Complex computer skills, including the ability to administer a system, interpret error codes, defragment hard drives, replace power supplies, and interpret computer codes
  • Ability to integrate information from a variety of sources
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
