Traveling Biomedical Equipment Specialist

RTI International is seeking a part-time Traveling Biomedical Equipment Specialist Driver to join our team. As a Biomedical Equipment Specialist Driver, you will be responsible for driving the Mobile Examination Center (MEC) to various study site locations, setting up medical equipment, and performing quality control checks.
Key Responsibilities- Drive the MEC to study locations and set up medical equipment
- Perform quality control checks on medical equipment
- Ensure the MEC is well-maintained and in safe working condition
- Provide technical support to clinical staff for medical equipment
- Manage and maintain equipment, tablet, and supplies properly
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Biomedical Engineering Technician Training through the military or college
- Minimum of 1 year of Biomedical Equipment experience
- Knowledge of maintenance actions: technical inspections, repairs, and troubleshooting
- Medical laboratory equipment maintenance, repair, and calibration experience required
- Valid driver's license
- Associate's Degree with a focus in bioinstrumentation, biomedical electronics, and biomedical technology
- 3 Years of Biomedical Equipment Technician or Military Biomedical Equipment Training
- Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) preferred
