The R2L team oversees a portfolio of rapidly expanding businesses with distinct fulfillment and operational capabilities, including Sub Same Day (SSD), Rural Super Rural (RSR), and Amazon Today.


Our finance teams work closely with operations to shape the strategic direction of the business, drive operational excellence, and make informed investment and expansion choices, all aimed at continuously enhancing the customer experience while ensuring long-term profitability for our diverse portfolio.

The ideal candidate will showcase their ability to influence business leaders, facilitate informed decision-making, and adapt to a fast-paced, changing environment.


They will collaborate with executives and various business units, demonstrating exceptional verbal and written communication skills, while prioritizing impactful projects and initiatives to propel the business forward.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Utilize financial expertise and business insight to develop financial models, analyze data, draw conclusions, and provide recommendations that drive results and improvements.
  • Deliver comprehensive financial reporting and planning by collaborating with stakeholders to understand input drivers, validate reporting accuracy, and influence strategic decisions.
  • Exercise sound judgment in ambiguous situations where data may be limited or challenging to obtain.
  • Employ active listening skills and communicate financial data clearly and concisely, tailoring the style for different audiences to effectively convey complex financial issues.
  • Engage in hiring, developing, and mentoring team members, while seeking and valuing diverse perspectives.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, or a highly analytical field (e.g., Engineering, Math, Computer Science).
  • 5+ years of finance experience, or a Master's degree with 3+ years of finance experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • MBA or CPA certification.
  • Proficiency in SQL/ETL.
  • Experience with large-scale data mining and reporting tools (e.g., SQL, MS Access, Essbase, Cognos) and other financial systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP, Lawson, JD Edwards).
  • Experience in delivering forecasting, budgeting, variance analysis, and interpreting data results.

Our compensation reflects the labor costs across various US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $85,900/year in our lowest geographic market to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market, depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
