Brooksource is seeking a skilled Technical Product Owner with over 5 years of pertinent experience to join our dynamic solution development team. This role involves taking full ownership of applications while collaborating closely with software developers, engineers, and architects to offer consultative guidance and direction.

The Technical Product Owner will be instrumental in:

  • Building and managing the product backlog, ensuring timely approval of tasks and their progression to completion.
  • Overseeing code deployment processes and leading development team members effectively.

Key Qualifications:

  • Proficient in defining and planning work for development teams.
  • Prior experience as an Azure/.NET developer or with a C# development background.
  • Familiarity with Confluent Kafka is advantageous.
  • Experience in developing applications on the Microsoft Azure Cloud platform is essential.
  • Ability to collaborate with development and architecture teams to set priorities.
  • Experience with SAFe or relevant Agile methodologies, comfortable leading backlog refinement sessions and presenting completed work to larger audiences.
  • Strong proficiency in using Azure DevOps or similar tools (such as Jira) for creating work items.
  • Understanding of both cloud-based and on-premises applications.
  • Solid knowledge of Azure function apps, logic apps, and durable functions.

The ideal candidate is proactive in scoping work for their development team, organized, and capable of effective communication in front of larger groups while collaborating with various teams.
