The Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the production of finished goods, sub-assemblies, and components at our Michigan City, IN facility. Work closely with the Plant Manager to implement quality improvements and reduce warranty returns.
Analyze production schedules to determine labor requirements and achieve on-time delivery targets.
Maintain accurate employee records and administer payroll.
Administer disciplinary measures as needed, with approval from the Plant Manager.
Foster a positive work environment and handle employee complaints effectively.
Ensure a safe working environment and maintain labor and production records as required.

Requirements:
Thorough knowledge of products manufactured at the facility and assembly methods.
Ability to maintain productivity and quality levels as required.
Strong planning and organizational skills to achieve production schedules.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers, employees, and external partners.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.

Work Conditions:

The Production Supervisor will work in an office environment, using standard office equipment, and may be required to walk between floors. Work hours are from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with minimal flexibility.
