Branch banking serves as the foundation of our operations. As a Branch Service Manager, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a successful environment for your team, ensuring that our clients receive the essential products and services they require for a prosperous financial future. Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee branch service, sales, and operational functions to meet strategic objectives in collaboration with the Branch Manager.
  • Provide recommendations on hiring, performance evaluations, promotions, and employee terminations.
  • Facilitate training, coaching, and mentorship for team members.
  • Address and resolve client service challenges, including complex complaints and inquiries.
  • Direct the activities of supervised employees.
  • Manage employee relations, including grievances and disciplinary actions.
  • Ensure compliance with legal standards and adherence to bank policies and safety protocols.
  • Lead sales initiatives through personal contributions and oversight of service tasks.
  • Exercise discretion in approvals and overrides within established authority.
  • Participate in the planning of operational, sales, and customer experience objectives.
  • Investigate operational issues, including loss and fraud, and resolve significant matters on behalf of the organization.
  • Represent the branch in dispute resolution and complaint handling.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required, along with 2+ years of experience in retail banking, sales, customer service, or related fields.
  • A combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Familiarity with banking industry standards, processes, regulations, and products.
  • Understanding of lending procedures and practices.
  • Strong skills in customer service, relationship building, sales, and management.
  • Ability to address various client concerns effectively.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in computer applications, including word processing and spreadsheets.
  • Capability to maintain high-quality work standards.
  • Leadership skills to guide a team effectively.
  • Ability to interact positively with individuals across various roles.
  • Strong problem-solving and communication abilities.
