Job Summary

Citigroup Inc. is seeking a seasoned professional to fill the role of Wealth Relationship Manager - Financial Services Expert. This position requires a seasoned professional with in-depth knowledge of financial planning and a proven track record of building and maintaining high-value client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Identify, build, and deepen relationships with high net worth clients to gain incremental wallet share through the use of financial planning and excellent discovery and profiling skills.
  • Financial Planning and Solutions: Anticipate the complex financial needs of clients and offer solutions through a wide range of products, services, and tools based on client profiling.
  • Product and Service Expertise: With the support of product specialists, intuitively recognize and understand a client's banking, credit, and investment needs and goals to provide holistic financial solutions.
  • Client Engagement and Communication: Provide regular value-added engagement with clients through high-touch, face-to-face meetings, consistent communication, and access to seminars.
  • Referral Opportunities: Master referral opportunities to grow portfolio and proactively source, acquire, and expand high-value customer relationships by maximizing sale and service opportunities.
  • Client Events and Partnerships: Organize client events to enhance client bonding and partner with all roles on the branch team to ensure all clients have a positive in-branch experience.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations.
Requirements
  • Experience: 5-8 years of experience in financial planning and client relationship management.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and financial skills, strong verbal and written communication skills, organized with strong attention to detail, and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, and Word) and experience using financial planning software.
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience, current registration for FINRA series 6, 63, and 65, and insurance group 1 required.
