Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and underwrite consumer loan applications in compliance with bank policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
  • Conduct thorough due diligence during the loan application process.
  • Maintain the Wintrust standard for exceptional customer service, both internally and externally.
  • Coordinate the closing and funding of loans.
  • Address customer transaction requests promptly.
  • Follow up with customers regarding any missing documentation for loan applications.
  • Prepare loan maturity notifications and manage third-party invoice submissions.
  • Perform various other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • 1-3 years of experience in banking and/or consumer loan processing is preferred; experience with HELOC is a plus.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of organization and time management, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
  • Familiarity with various loan documentation, banking processing standards, best practices, and audit control procedures.
  • Knowledge of nCino, Salesforce, and/or FIS is advantageous.
