About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Financial Planning Advisor to join our team at Northwestern Mutual - Greater Chicago. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing personalized financial planning and investment advice, and helping them achieve their long-term financial goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Acquisition and Retention: Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain new clients, while also maintaining strong relationships with existing clients.
  • Financial Planning and Advice: Provide personalized financial planning and investment advice to clients, helping them to achieve their financial goals and objectives.
  • Product and Service Development: Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments, and identify opportunities to offer new products and services to clients.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, and develop strategies to grow and expand our client base.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the financial services industry, including investment products, insurance, and retirement planning.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Business Acumen: Strong business acumen, with the ability to analyze financial data and make informed decisions.
