Job Title: Direct Support Professional

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional to join our team at Iyaho Social Services Inc. As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to live fulfilling and independent lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transportation and Community Integration: Provide safe and reliable transportation for individuals to and from day hab sites, community activities, and other destinations.
  • Support and Care: Assist individuals with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming, while promoting their independence and autonomy.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a safe and healthy environment for individuals, adhering to all agency policies and procedures.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Accurately record and document individual progress, goals, and concerns, ensuring timely reporting to supervisors.
  • Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and certification programs to enhance skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
