Job Title: Bilingual Community Disaster Program Specialist

As a Bilingual Community Disaster Program Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting our disaster response efforts. You will work closely with our team to provide disaster relief services to those affected by disasters, including home fires, floods, and other emergencies. Your primary responsibility will be to engage with the community, build relationships with local organizations, and provide support to our volunteers.

We are looking for a highly motivated and organized individual who is fluent in both English and Spanish. You will be responsible for coordinating disaster response efforts, managing volunteer teams, and providing support to our clients. Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with the community to build relationships with local organizations and individuals.
  • Coordinate disaster response efforts, including managing volunteer teams and providing support to clients.
  • Provide support to our volunteers, including training and resources.
  • Work closely with our team to develop and implement disaster response plans.
  • Collaborate with local organizations to provide support and resources to those affected by disasters.

Requirements:

  • Fluency in both English and Spanish.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of experience in disaster response or a related field.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.
