We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at Orthopedic Associates. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and providers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized, compassionate care to patients in the clinic setting.
  • Assist with patient care tasks, including bracing and stitch removal.
  • Remove dressing/splints, casts, and braces, and remove sutures/staples.
  • Prepare rooms for patient visits and ensure proper equipment and supplies are available.
  • Perform vital signs and report abnormalities to assigned MA, PA, or physician.
  • Scribe HPI (History of present illness), verify allergies, medications, past medical history, and past surgeries.

Requirements:

  • Healthcare industry experience.
  • CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification.
  • Ability to provide required documentation stating that the employee is legal to work in the United States.
