Orthopedic Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our team at Orthopedic Associates. As a key member of our clinical staff, you will provide exceptional patient care and support to our patients and providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized, compassionate care to patients in the clinic setting.
- Assist with patient care tasks, including bracing and stitch removal.
- Remove dressing/splints, casts, and braces, and remove sutures/staples.
- Prepare rooms for patient visits and ensure proper equipment and supplies are available.
- Perform vital signs and report abnormalities to assigned MA, PA, or physician.
- Scribe HPI (History of present illness), verify allergies, medications, past medical history, and past surgeries.
Requirements:
- Healthcare industry experience.
- CMA, RMA, or CCMA certification.
- Ability to provide required documentation stating that the employee is legal to work in the United States.
