Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated X-Ray Technologist to join our team at Orthopedic Associates. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will be responsible for operating X-Ray equipment, collaborating with healthcare professionals, and ensuring the accuracy and quality of images produced.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for radiological exams, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the process.
  • Protect patients, yourself, and staff from radiation exposure by adhering to sound procedures and industry standards.
  • Utilize ALARA principles to obtain high-quality images, minimizing radiation exposure while maximizing diagnostic accuracy.
  • Maintain and clean Digital Radiography (DR) imaging systems, ensuring optimal performance and image quality.
  • Report equipment malfunctions to supervisors, ensuring prompt resolution and minimizing downtime.
  • Log and bill x-rays within electronic medical records, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
  • Collaborate with providers to ensure image accuracy and quality, contributing to effective patient care.
  • Work as a team member to ensure efficiency, safety, and patient satisfaction.
  • Perform fluoroscopic procedures, adhering to established protocols and guidelines.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; RT or AART certification preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Adherence to ethical standards and professional guidelines, demonstrating professionalism, respect, and confidentiality.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively, communicate clearly, and contribute to a cohesive healthcare approach for patient care.
