Medical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Assistant to join our team at Specialty1 Partners. As a key member of our oral surgery practice, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Responsibilities- Prepare the surgical area, instruments, and equipment for each procedure, maintaining a clean and sterile environment.
- Assist the surgeon during procedures, anticipating their needs and providing support as required.
- Monitor and record patient vitals, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure.
- Prepare and provide post-operative instructions and materials to patients, promoting a smooth recovery process.
- Help maintain inventory and order supplies as needed, ensuring a well-stocked and efficient practice.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the surgeon or office manager, contributing to the overall success of our team.
- At least 1-2 years of experience as a surgical assistant, with a preference for specialty experience.
- Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods, ensuring a high level of patient safety.
- Understanding of health and safety regulations, adhering to industry standards.
- Ability to perform regulated non-surgical tasks, working efficiently and effectively.
- Good computer skills, with proficiency in relevant software and systems.
- Excellent communication and people skills, providing exceptional patient care and support.
- A strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all aspects of the job.
- Well-organized and reliable, with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
- A high school diploma, with a certificate from an accredited surgical assistant program (if required by law).
- An active state radiology license (if required by law).
