Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Laminator Operator Assistant to join our Operations team at LLFlex, a world-class manufacturing and converting company. This role will be responsible for ensuring the efficient production of laminated flexible substrates, meeting customer specifications, and contributing to the company's success in the consumer products, wire & cable, building & construction, and tobacco industries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate laminating machines to produce high-quality flexible substrates, adhering to strict quality control standards.
  • Assist in the setup and maintenance of production lines, ensuring optimal performance and minimizing downtime.
  • Monitor and control raw material usage, inventory levels, and waste management to optimize production efficiency.
  • Collaborate with the production team to identify and implement process improvements, reducing costs and increasing productivity.
  • Perform routine quality control checks, inspecting products for defects and ensuring compliance with company standards.
  • Participate in training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge in manufacturing operations, lean manufacturing principles, and mechanical troubleshooting.
Requirements
  • 5 years of experience as a Machine Operator or in a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced production setting.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including overtime, and adapt to changing production schedules.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to work in a temperature-controlled environment, with occasional exposure to extreme temperatures.
