Position Overview:

As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and excellence. Your primary responsibility will be to evaluate both raw materials and finished products to confirm compliance with our stringent quality benchmarks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspection Duties: Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials and finished goods, documenting quality defects and outcomes on kiln load reports (KLR). Ensure that all inspected items are accurately categorized and directed to their respective departments.
  • Reporting: Maintain detailed records of inspection results using Excel spreadsheets and communicate findings to production management.
  • Cross-Training: Assist in training fellow inspectors to provide coverage during absences, ensuring continuous quality oversight.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Prior experience in quality control or a related field.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficient in computer applications, including word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational abilities, capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to perform various physical tasks, including lifting and moving objects.
  • High level of mental and visual focus required for quality assessment.

Work Environment:

This position is based in a standard office setting, with minimal exposure to adverse conditions.
