Job Title: Quality Control Inspector

The Quality Control Inspector plays a crucial role in ensuring the quality of products by conducting thorough inspections and documenting findings. This position requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct final inspections of products to ensure conformity to established standards and procedures.
  • Use and interpret work instructions and associated documents to ensure product quality.
  • Identify and document non-conforming materials and report to quality supervisors.
  • Perform analysis, inspection, troubleshooting, and testing of products or components identified as non-conforming.
  • Maintain inspection equipment and ensure it is used within the calibration cycle.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects to identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years' experience in a Quality Inspection role.
  • Proficient in all aspects of inspection, including using and maintaining inspection equipment.
  • Experience with reading inspection processes and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Strong communication, organizational, documentation, and time management skills.
  • Analytical, logical thought process, and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of the Quality team and other cross-functional teams.
  • Strong skills in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn various manufacturing software systems.
Work Environment:

The work environment is typically moderate, with occasional exposure to noise and physical demands. The employee must be able to stand, walk, sit, use hands and arms to pull handles and push buttons, and reach objects. The employee may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Compensation:

The salary range for this position is $18.50/hr to $24.50/hr, depending on individual factors such as market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
