Position Responsibilities:

The Healthcare Customer Service Associate plays a vital role in managing the front office and representing our practice with professionalism. Key responsibilities include:

  • Greeting patients warmly and professionally, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Entering and verifying demographic information in the electronic medical record system.
  • Collecting and verifying insurance information accurately.
  • Distributing necessary forms to patients and assisting with their completion.
  • Collecting co-payments and managing financial transactions accurately.
  • Scheduling patient appointments in accordance with department guidelines.
  • Managing daily tasks and completing reminder calls.
  • Assisting with administrative duties such as faxing and copying.
  • Ensuring compliance with all regulations and policies.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficient computer skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
