Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the in-house Construction Manager to manage day-to-day construction activities and ensure projects remain on budget.
- Develop financial models and analyze new development investment opportunities to present to the Investment Committee.
- Coordinate project invoices and loan draws with the accounting team to ensure timely payments.
- Facilitate and coordinate project consultants, trades, and construction managers throughout the project life cycle.
- Prepare monthly development project reports for capital partners and senior executives.
- Perform market studies and analyses to document trends and support new business development opportunities.
- Collaborate with the Partners on marketing and branding initiatives to create and execute marketing leasing programs.
- Meet with community and business groups to obtain support for development projects.
- Support the regional team in negotiating and closing acquisitions, financing, and dispositions.
- Bachelor's degree in a real estate or development-related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of commercial real estate development or construction experience.
- Proficiency in real estate accounting software, preferably with MRI and/or Yardi.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe.
- Strong analytical capabilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and changing priorities.
- Self-management and independence.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Travel may be required.
