Head of Strategic Channel Partnerships

Best Choice Products is seeking a highly skilled Head of Strategic Channel Partnerships to join our team. This role is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive growth strategy for multiple marketplaces and 1P channels.
The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of marketplace and 1P business models and operations, including promotional participation. They will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with partner channels, cultivating new opportunities, and driving product sales.
The Head of Strategic Channel Partnerships will work closely with cross-functional departments to formulate and implement 3P fulfillment strategies, optimize listings for maximum search relevancy and conversion, and monitor partner communications regarding product safety compliance and customer feedback.
This is a key member of the Channel Partner and Operations team, reporting to the Director of Channel Operations and Partner Management. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of owning key relationships above and below the executive level, with excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive growth strategy for multiple marketplaces and 1P channels.
- Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with partner channels.
- Forge partnerships and facilitate access to new opportunities and pilot programs within each channel.
- Collaborate with Category managers to identify growth opportunities and devise action plans.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to formulate and implement 3P fulfillment strategies.
- Partner with Catalog Management to ensure listings are following best practices and are optimized for maximum search relevancy and conversion.
- Assist Channel Compliance in monitoring partner communications regarding product safety compliance and customer feedback.
- Serve as the primary liaison between category, marketing, operations teams, and Channel teams.
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience within ecommerce.
- 3+ years of experience directly managing a major Marketplace business.
- Extensive knowledge about Marketplace and 1P business models and operations.
- Demonstrated experience in owning key relationships above and below the executive level.
- Demonstrated ability to apply critical thought to develop, recommend, and implement strategies.
- Problem solver, dynamic, competitive, high-energy candidate that acts with urgency and efficiency.
- Strong project management, organizational, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Demonstrated Leadership skills.
- Computer skills in Microsoft Office, ERP, BI, and retail platform software.
- Strong written and oral communication skills for internal and external contact.
