Position Overview:
As an Access Services Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in facilitating patient access to the SPRINT PNS System. This position involves collaborating with various stakeholders, including payers, healthcare providers, patients, and internal teams, to ensure seamless access to treatment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver exceptional support to both external customers and the internal sales organization.
- Assess medical benefits and navigate the authorization process to meet payer requirements.
- Manage pre-service appeal requests for various insurance types, including commercial and government payers.
- Maintain consistent follow-up and tracking of requests submitted to insurance companies.
- Ensure ongoing communication with providers, patients, payers, and internal departments.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers and patients to secure necessary authorizations and documentation.
- Analyze and identify trends or issues related to payer interactions that may affect patient access.
- Keep accurate records in databases and documentation systems.
- Undertake additional tasks and projects as directed by management.

Qualifications:
- A minimum of 4 years' experience in health insurance, coding, billing, and reimbursement processes, including verification of benefits for various payers.
- Strong understanding of medical benefits, insurance standards, and compliance regulations.
- Familiarity with HIPAA and patient privacy regulations.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and online information systems.
- Experience in the medical device sector is preferred.
- Customer service or call center experience is advantageous.
- Familiarity with CRM platforms, particularly Salesforce, is a plus.

- A commitment to achieving results, with flexibility in hours as needed for project demands.
