Key Responsibilities
  • Provide analysis and recommendations to modernize our data warehouse operation, ensuring seamless transition to new services.
  • Develop architectural diagrams, conduct data and performance analyses, and create technical documentation to describe the current or future state of our data warehouse operations.
  • Support the establishment of technical prototypes, proofs-of-concept, and limited operational pilots to assess candidate technologies and solutions for data warehouse modernization.
  • Provide engineering services for data warehouse systems, networks, cloud, virtualization, security, workstations, applications, and other IT-related components.
  • Modernize data management workflows that collect, maintain, and provide data supporting our business operations.
Requirements
  • Master's degree with at least 4 years of specialized experience or B.A/B.S. with at least 6 years of specialized experience in related technology.
  • Experience in complex networks, cloud technologies, cross-platform integration, and large-scale, complex systems design and implementation.
Preferred Skills
  • Expertise in data modeling and architecture, including designing robust database schemas and optimizing data organization and retrieval within SQL Server.
  • Proficiency in using SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) for sophisticated ETL operations.
  • Advanced query optimization techniques to expedite data retrieval and improve performance.
  • Data warehouse administration, including managing SQL Server environments for high availability and effective scaling of resources.
  • Anomaly detection and machine learning, including preparing data for use in anomaly detection and machine learning algorithms.
  • Experience with data technologies such as Oracle, SQL Data Warehouse, and SQL Server.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
