Job Summary:

System One is seeking a highly skilled Business Intelligence Developer to join our team. As a Business Intelligence Developer, you will be responsible for designing and developing complex Business Intelligence 4.2 Universes and creating advanced reports in BI 4.2. You will work closely with our clients to understand their business needs and develop solutions that meet their requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop complex Business Intelligence 4.2 Universes
  • Create advanced reports in BI 4.2
  • Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and develop solutions
  • Develop unit test plans, unit test scripts, and test conditions based on business and system requirements
  • Coordinate and demo prototype reviews and validate that solutions meet requirements
  • Prepare training manuals and support to business users to promote understanding of Business Intelligence 4.2 environment and usage of Business Intelligence 4.2 Web Intelligence reports, and BI Launch pad tools and features
  • Conduct performance tuning for Universes and Reports
  • Assist the team with troubleshooting problems and developing recommendations/solutions

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience designing complex BI 4.2 Universes
  • 8+ years of experience creating advanced complex reports in BI 4.2
  • Proven experience with Business Objects Universe Design Tool (UDT)
  • Proven experience with Business Objects Information Design Tool (IDT)
  • Tableau experience
  • Ability to apply strong technical knowledge of features and functions of Business intelligence tools
  • Strong SQL data analysis skills
  • Excellent understanding of the software development life cycle
  • Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • ETL/Tableau experience high desired
  • Proven experience with Business Objects Information Design Tool (IDT)
  • Proven experience converting Universes from UDT to IDT
  • Ability to apply strong technical knowledge of features and functions of Business intelligence tools
  • Strong SQL data analysis skills
  • Excellent understanding of the software development life cycle
  • Possess strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
