Job Title: Treatment Nurse LPN

At St. Martin's in the Pines- A Diversicare Transitional Care Community, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Treatment Nurse LPN to join our team. As a Treatment Nurse LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall success of our community.

Responsibilities:
  • Administer prescribed medications, orally and by injections, to residents in a safe and timely manner.
  • Provide treatments to residents per physician orders, ensuring accurate and effective care.
  • Observe residents' reactions to medications and treatments, reporting any changes or concerns to the supervisor and attending physician.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of medications and controlled substances, maintaining a safe and secure environment.
  • Document all services provided, including medication administration and treatment outcomes, in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, ensuring resident-centered care.
  • Provide education to residents and families regarding care, promoting empowerment and independence.
  • Assist in planning, supervising, and instructing C.N.T.'s, ensuring positive outcomes for residents.
Qualifications:
  • Current license by the State Board of Nursing, as an R.N. or L.P.N.
  • Ability to lead and motivate subordinates, promoting a positive and supportive work environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with residents, families, and healthcare team members.
  • Ability to perform a variety of duties characterized by frequent change, adapting to changing circumstances and priorities.
