Job SummaryWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate LPN to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced medical surgical environment. As a travel LPN, you will have the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and develop your skills in a dynamic setting.
Responsibilities- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and monitor patients for adverse reactions or side effects.
- Monitor patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate, and report any significant changes to the supervising nurse or physician.
- Assist with patient hygiene, such as bathing and dressing, and help patients with activities of daily living.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Document patient care and maintain accurate medical records.
- Educate patients and their families about disease prevention, health promotion, and the management of chronic health conditions.
- Provide emotional support to patients and their families.
- Adhere to ethical and legal standards of nursing practice.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current LPN license.
- Experience working in a medical surgical setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including nights.
