Treatment Nurse, LPN/RN

We are seeking a skilled Treatment Nurse to join our team at North Hill Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, LLC in Birmingham, AL.
Job Summary:
The Treatment Nurse will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, identifying and managing skin disorders, and implementing effective treatment plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, plan, implement, and evaluate skin care in residents.
- Manage and treat specific skin disorders.
- Perform evaluation using observation and inspection techniques.
- Confer with the Care Planning Team in the development of the Care Plan.
- Provide and document treatment for skin disorders within established wound care protocol and monitors ongoing skin and wound treatments.
- Monitor the use of preventive measures such as inspection, turning, and positioning.
- Assist in modifying the treatment regimen to meet the needs of the resident in accordance with established medical practices, the regulatory guidelines, and the policies and goals of this Facility.
- Provide information to resident and caregivers on prevention techniques and other ways to maintain or improve the general health and psychosocial status of the resident.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing; current nursing license to practice as a licensed practical nurse in the state.
- Experience in skincare preferred.
- Must have current CPR certification.
- A.D.A (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliance.
Working Conditions:
The Treatment Nurse will work in a fast-paced environment, requiring manual dexterity, normal range of hearing and vision, and the ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds. The position requires a post-offer, pre-employment physical health examination as a condition of employment.
