As an AODA Recovery Specialist, you will play a vital role in providing case management services to adults with behavioral health problems and/or alcohol or drug issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate client strengths and needs.
  • Analyze situations, capabilities, and problems to determine required services.
  • Address basic needs and provide therapeutic interventions to increase effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement goal-oriented treatment plans.
  • Maintain weekly contact with clients and develop crisis/safety plans.
  • Build support teams to monitor progress and provide ongoing support.

Requirements:

  • Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and automobile insurance.
  • Bachelor's degree in sociology, social work, psychology, or a closely related field.
  • At least two years of experience working with individuals with mental health and addiction issues.
