At Professional Services Group & Community Impact Programs, we are dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of individuals and families in our community. Our comprehensive alcohol and drug treatment program is designed to provide wraparound services that address the unique needs of each client. We are seeking experienced professionals to join our team as Substance Abuse Recovery Specialists for this program.
Job Summary
As a Substance Abuse Recovery Specialist, you will be responsible for providing case management services to adults with behavioral health problems and/or substance abuse issues. This will include conducting assessments to evaluate the strengths and needs of each client, analyzing situations and determining the services required to meet their needs, and addressing basic needs such as housing, employment, and education. You will also be responsible for formulating, implementing, and evaluating treatment plans, as well as maintaining weekly contact with clients and developing a support team to monitor progress.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Assessments: Evaluate the strengths and needs of each client to determine the best course of treatment.
- Analyze Situations: Determine the services required to meet the needs of each client, taking into account their unique circumstances.
- Address Basic Needs: Help clients access resources such as housing, employment, and education to increase their effectiveness in overcoming issues.
- Develop Treatment Plans: Collaborate with clients to formulate, implement, and evaluate treatment plans that address their strengths and needs.
- Maintain Client Contact: Regularly check in with clients to monitor their progress and provide support as needed.
- Develop Support Teams: Assemble a team of formal and informal supports to monitor clients' progress and provide additional support as needed.

Requirements
- Education: Bachelor's degree in sociology, social work, psychology, or closely related field.
- Experience: At least two years of experience working with individuals with mental health and addiction issues.
- Reliable Transportation: Must have a valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
Location
The Substance Abuse Recovery Specialist will be based at our Kenosha Clinic and offices, with local travel required as needed within Kenosha County. The opportunity to work hybrid/remote is available.
