We are seeking an experienced Home Medical Equipment Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering and setting up respiratory equipment at patient homes, educating them on safe use and maintenance, and resolving any issues that may arise.

  • You will adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety protocols and regulations.
  • You will assist in resolving customer equipment problems under emergency conditions, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption to patient care.
  • You will contribute to quality improvement programs to meet company and industry standards, promoting excellence in patient care and service delivery.
  • You will communicate vehicle problems or conditions that compromise safe operations to your supervisor, prioritizing patient safety and well-being.
  • You will complete shipping papers when transporting hazardous materials, adhering to Rotech's policy and procedures.
  • You will document all information related to patient visits, follow-up visits, and equipment setup, maintaining accurate records for future reference.
  • You will develop and maintain working knowledge of current HME products and services offered by Rotech, staying up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory requirements.
  • You will develop basic reimbursement knowledge, accurately documenting all information to support patient claims.
  • You will develop technical knowledge of HME and respiratory products, enhancing your skills to provide exceptional patient care.
  • You will maintain assigned company vehicles in clean and safe working condition, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • You will manage territory to reach service goals, delivering equipment and oxygen as required in accordance with industry standards and applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
  • You will prepare and maintain written company records, including invoices, work orders, manifests, and logs, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • You will process all orders and required paperwork in a timely and accurate manner, minimizing delays and ensuring seamless service delivery.
  • You will report equipment hazards and/or product incidents as required, adhering to company policies and regulatory guidelines.

Travel via company vehicle is required to patient homes for set-ups and recurring deliveries. You will also be expected to work independently, managing your time effectively to meet service goals and deadlines.

Estimated Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per annum, depending on experience and location. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.
