Assistant Professor Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Adult Psychiatrist to join our team as an Assistant Professor at the University of Minnesota. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the academic mission of the University and provide high-quality clinical care to patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide professional psychiatric adult outpatient services at the University of Minnesota teaching locations.
- Work collaboratively with the outpatient team and clinical leadership to provide evidence-based outpatient services.
- Develop and implement clinical guidelines/protocols for patient care.
- Collaborate with research teams seeking to conduct research studies involving patients in programs.
- Support ongoing development of clinical practices by developing and implementing clinical guidelines/protocols for patient care.
- Graduate of an accredited ACGME/AOA Psychiatry residency training program.
- Board certified or eligible in specialty and subspecialty.
- BC/BE with the ABMS.
- Licensed or ability to obtain Minnesota Board of Medical Practice Licensure.
- Ability to obtain and/or maintain DEA certification for Minnesota.
- Meet threshold criteria/qualifications for Credentialing and Privileges.
