Job Description

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring the overall maintenance and upkeep of our apartment community. This includes performing routine maintenance tasks, responding to resident service requests, and maintaining a safe and clean living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Resident Service Requests: Respond to and resolve resident service requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintenance and Repairs: Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs, as well as general carpentry and repair work.
  • Grounds and Facilities Maintenance: Inspect and maintain the grounds, buildings, and other community features to ensure they are safe and well-maintained.
  • Turn Season: Assist with the preparation of units for new residents, including cleaning, painting, and making any necessary repairs.
  • On-Call Duties: Be available to respond to after-hours maintenance requests and emergencies.
  • Communication: Maintain open and effective communication with residents, management, and other staff members.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year maintenance experience required. Experience in multi-unit complexes or hotels preferred.
  • Skills: Good organizational and people skills, knowledge of general carpentry and repair, ability to lift and work with heavy equipment, and a valid driver's license.
