Essential Skills and Experience:
  • Mechanical Background: Possess a strong understanding of mechanical systems and principles.
  • Welding and Fabrication: Skilled in welding (TIG and Stick) and fabrication techniques.
  • Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic blueprints.
  • Plumbing Skills: Knowledge of plumbing systems, including water, air, and hydraulic systems.
  • Ammonia Refrigeration: Familiarity with ammonia refrigeration systems and principles.
  • Time Management: Proven ability to prioritize tasks, manage time, and meet deadlines.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with plant personnel and maintenance teams.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to work at heights up to 25 feet using ladders or man lifts.
  • Continuous Learning: Willingness to learn new tasks and adapt to changing production demands.
