Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounting Manager to join our finance team at Jobot. Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and oversee daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and payroll.
  • Prepare and present financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with applicable standards and regulations.
  • Perform balance sheet reconciliations and manage prepaid expenses.
  • Oversee project and job cost accounting, ensuring accurate cost allocation and timely reporting.
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
  • Support month-end and year-end close process.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
  • Liaise with our auditors to ensure appropriate monitoring of company finances is maintained.
  • Coordinate with franchise and construction departments to provide financial insights and guidance.
  • Lead and mentor accounting staff, promoting a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CMA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the finance industry.
  • Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
  • High proficiency in MS Office and accounting software and databases.
  • Proven ability to manage, guide, and lead employees to ensure appropriate financial processes are being used.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Exceptional analytical skills, with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
