AlmrStaffing is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electronic Security Systems Specialist to join their team in Washington, D.C.

Salary: $80,000 - $105,000 per year

We are looking for a professional with at least 8 years of experience in the installation and maintenance of Access Control Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems, and Video Management Systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in system programming and administration, as well as experience creating technical documentation.

The successful candidate will work directly with customers to configure and maintain electronic security systems, including Lenel OnGuard Access Control System (ACS) and other ESS components. They will also be responsible for troubleshooting complex system issues, communicating effectively with customers and technical specialists, and training system users on system functionality and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage physical security system support to meet service level agreements.
  • Analyze physical security system performance and recommend improvements.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex system issues for physical security systems and networks.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, manufacturers, vendors, and technical specialists.
  • Train system users and support personnel on system functionality and procedures.
  • Perform desktop hardware setup, operating system installation, and imaging software loading.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and engineers on security design and integration.
  • Provide technical support to field technicians and operational staff.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • At least 8 years of experience in the installation and maintenance of Access Control Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems, and Video Management Systems.
  • At least 3 years of experience with Access Control System programming and administration.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience creating technical documentation, including design documents and reference libraries.
  • Active Top Secret clearance is required.
