Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Cancer Treatment Specialist to join our Radiation Oncology department in Virginia.

This role involves administering radiation treatments to patients, performing CT simulations, and adhering to radiation safety practices. The ideal candidate will have experience working with radiation therapy equipment and a strong understanding of quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver accurate radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist.
  • Collaborate with the Radiation Oncologist and physicist to ensure effective treatment planning and execution.
  • Participate in Quality Assessment and Improvement Program to maintain high standards of patient care.
  • Perform tasks such as patient transport, scheduling, record keeping, and equipment maintenance.
  • Assist in designing policies and procedures for therapist programs.

Requirements:

Registered with the ARRT or equivalent certifying organization.One to two years of relevant clinical experience preferred.

Salary Range:$65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.
