MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission-certified staffing agency, is seeking an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) for a challenging travel assignment with one of our top healthcare clients.

About the Job

This exciting opportunity allows you to work in a fast-paced Acute Care Oncology setting, caring for critically or chronically ill cancer patients. As an Oncology RN, you will be responsible for administering chemotherapy, implementing new methods of symptom treatment, and monitoring patients' progress.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide comprehensive care to cancer patients throughout all stages of their conditions, focusing on the acute phase.
  • Assist patients ranging from post-surgical to near-terminal manage their disease and treatment effectively, and may also be responsible for administering chemotherapy.
  • Educate cancer patients about treatment options, procedures, and particularities of the disease.
Requirements:
  • Active RN License
  • Degree from accredited nursing program
  • BLS & ACLS Certifications
  • Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Oncology setting
  • Other requirements determined by our client facility
